Golden September light settled over a private estate above Kelowna as Grace and Freddie welcomed their favourite people into the backyard. Blue accents brought colour to the day, and handmade details filled the space with personality. A donut wall and a shot wall added a playful touch, and when rain arrived during the reception, it gave the evening a little extra magic.

Grace and Freddie hosted their Okanagan backyard wedding at a private residence, where the property looked out over sweeping views of Kelowna. The lawn gave the day plenty of room to unfold outdoors, and the couple's easygoing energy kept everything feeling relaxed and warm.

The design was playful and deeply personal. Blue accents ran through the decor, adding a bright pop of colour to the setting. DIY donut and shot walls became favourite gathering spots, and cakesicle favours decorated to look like the bride and groom had guests smiling. Grace carried a replica of her mom's wedding bouquet, a sentimental detail that kept her mother close throughout the day.

When the rain rolled in during the reception, Grace and Freddie took it in stride. The celebration carried on with dancing and laughter, and the weather became part of the story they will tell for years.
